1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Our Pawfect Life website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Use of Service

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Upload or share content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Use the service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers

3. Account Registration

To create a journal or access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it updated.

4. Journal Content

When you create a journal, you retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to:

• Display your content on journal pages
• Store and backup your content
• Process and optimise your content for display on various devices
• Share public journal content on our official social media channels (see section 5)

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must ensure you have the right to share it. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is reported as inappropriate.

5. Social Media Sharing

By setting your journal to public, you acknowledge and agree that we may share this content on our official social media channels to celebrate dogs' lives. Our social media channels include:

You may withdraw your consent for social media sharing at any time by changing your journal's privacy settings to private from your dashboard. Upon receiving your request, we will remove the content from our social media channels within 48 hours and send you a confirmation email once the removal is complete.

Private journals will never be shared on social media. You may also contact us at privacy@ourpawfect.life to request removal at any time.

6. Products and Orders

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Prices are subject to change without notice. We take care to accurately describe our products, but we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the site are accurate, complete, or error-free.

7. Payment

Payment for products and subscriptions is processed securely through Stripe. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. All payments are in British Pounds (£) unless otherwise stated.

8. Subscription

The annual subscription is £9.99/year (region-priced at checkout) and renews automatically one year after your first payment, unless you cancel first. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll drop to the free tier from your renewal date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds on the annual subscription. UK and EU customers have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of first purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

9. Physical Products

We sell physical keepsake products, including a wooden QR keyring, an NFC 3D-printed paw print, and a dog collar tag, each personalised to link to your dog's journal. This section applies to those orders alongside the rest of this page. UK delivery only, with postage included in the price.

Ordering and dispatch

Your order is accepted, and a contract formed between us, when we send you an order confirmation email. Engraved items are made to order and we aim to dispatch within 3-5 working days. Delivery estimates run from dispatch, not from when you place your order. P&P is shown at checkout before you pay, and covers postage, protective packaging and handling.

Delivery area

We deliver physical products worldwide, with P&P calculated for your country at checkout. This doesn't affect access to your dog's journal, which can be created and viewed from anywhere in the world.

Cancelling an order

For items that are not personalised, you have 14 days from the day you receive them to change your mind, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Email us to cancel. You then have 14 days to send the goods back, and we'll refund you within 5-7 working days of receiving them, including the standard delivery cost you paid us. Return postage is yours to pay unless the item is faulty.

Personalised and engraved items

Items engraved or personalised with your pet's name are made to your specification. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, goods made to your specification or clearly personalised are exempt from the 14-day right to cancel, and they are also outside our 30-day returns policy. Please check spellings carefully before you order.

Returns on other items

Items that are not personalised may be returned within 30 days of delivery in line with our Returns policy.

If something is wrong

None of the above affects your legal rights. If any item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, you're entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, whether it was personalised or not. You have 30 days from delivery to reject a faulty item for a full refund. Tell us as soon as you can, with a photo if you have one, and we'll put it right — including the cost of sending it back.

Pricing and availability

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders already confirmed. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we'll contact you and refund you in full.

10. Intellectual Property

The Our Pawfect Life name, logo, website design, and all original content created by us are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Our Pawfect Life shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Our Pawfect Life and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

13. Journal Preservation

We are committed to preserving journals for the long term. However, we cannot guarantee perpetual availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if we ever need to discontinue the service.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms.
